It is a thing thatyou eat in your breakfast everyday, commonly known as oatmeal. Yes, oatmeal is also a good alternative, especially if you have enough time to apply the oatmeal to your dog’s fur and if your dog has skin problems. Here, some easy step by step process that you can use: 

• Use 1 or 2 cups of plain oats, and cook it up until you get the soupy consistency! If your oats didn’t get a smooth texture, try to use a blender to make them smooth.

• Let the oatmeal cool down to room temperature before you use it on your dog’s fur.

• Then apply a thin layer of oats all the way deep, down through your dog’s fur, up to their skin except your dog’s eyes, mouth, and ears.

• Here is the challenging part: try to let the oatmeal dry on your dog’s fur completely before your dog eats all the oatmeal. 

• Once you succeed in the drying process, now brush it all out from your dog’s fur with the help of a pin brush.

• Step First: Mix the cornstarch and baking soda into any bowl. Make sure you add cornstarch and baking soda in an equal quantity, which means 1 cup of baking soda in 1 cup of cornstarch.

• Step Third: Mix everything perfectly! 

• Step Four: Put the mixture in any piece of the plastic container.

Your dog’s dry shampoo is ready to use now, but be careful when you use dry shampoo; always protect your dog’s eyes and breathing passages! And don’t use too much; only apply the right amount of shampoo that covers your dog’s fur!
